Have you ever wondered what a day in the life looks like for our Big Imprint employees? Look no further, we are giving you a look behind the curtain of a typical day here at Big Imprint.
If you are new to us or stumbling across our website, let’s start with what we do. Big Imprint is a web design and online marketing company. We serve companies located in Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Muscatine, and even nationwide. We have a cozy little office located in West Liberty, Iowa, although we work remotely much of the time. Ethan Anderson founded the company in 2009, and we are currently a team of four. Our three employees Ethan, Gilad, and Cassie make up the Big Imprint staff, and we work closely with our partner Kevin Mellen for website design and print design.
Our employees’ typical days look quite different from one another. Here is a look at the usual days of our three Big Imprint employees.
Ethan (Owner): Ethan is the founder of Big Imprint. This means he has a lot on his plate. A typical day for Ethan revolves around keeping Big Imprint running smoothly. Ethan is the one who brings our clients through the doors. He makes sales calls and has the initial meetings with our clients. He drafts up the proposals and answers any of your questions.
Gilad (Web Developer): Gilad is our web developer and does a lot behind the scenes to make your website look great. His typical day revolves around website creation and maintenance. Once the project is passed off to Gilad, he gets to work on bringing your website to life on WordPress. If you have ever emailed our support email, Gilad has most likely answered your email! He is quick to help you fix a problem or get something updated on your website.
Cassie (Project Manager): Cassie is the project manager here at Big Imprint, which means a typical day at the office revolves mostly around our clients. First thing, Cassie catches up on emails and voicemails that came through after work hours the day before. Throughout the whole day, Cassie answers emails and phone calls. If you are calling the Big Imprint office, she is the one who will most likely answer. A typical day for Cassie also includes Zoom meetings with clients regarding content, design, or training on how to update their website. You will also find Cassie working on invoices and keeping client information up to date. Many other things come up throughout the day that Cassie tackles, but working with our awesome clients is always a priority.
We also enjoy going out to eat together every once in a while. Ethan and Gilad enjoy talking politics , while Cassie enjoys informing them about everything sports-related .
