Our first local client spotlight of the year is Simpson Memorial Home & Wilton Retirement Community. These are community-based non-profits that provide rural healthcare. They provide both assisted living and skilled nursing care at both locations. In addition, Simpson Memorial Home provides independent living options while Wilton Retirement Community has a dedicated unit for dementia care.
In 2023 Simpson Memorial Home was ready to take a big step with their website. Some of the things they wanted to accomplish included separating their two locations on the website, adding an employee portal, on-site photography, 3D renderings, and HIPPA-compliant forms. They looked to the Big Imprint team for help. Chad Thomas, Executive Director & Administrator, says they picked Big Imprint to overhaul their website because they are local to them as well as the fact that they’ve had a good experience with Big Imprint’s team in the past.
When Big Imprint showed them their brand-new website Chad stated, “I could not imagine the sheer amount of information that is now on the website. The level of interaction and usefulness has been a great experience.”
Big Imprint also coordinated on-site photography by Bill Adams and oversaw the creation of 3D images of each of the different room options that are available to residents. Chad said, “The 3D imaging was huge. We get comments all the time with how helpful those are. Families also love to see those photos on the social media and the website.”
The new website has helped the SMH and WRC organizations in a variety of ways. From the high level of information now available online, to the pleasing aesthetic that the new photography provides, and the 3D models that allow those who are looking into the facilities to get a good sense of each room’s layout.
Simpson continues to look forward not only with their website, but also within their buildings. Simpson Memorial Home has been around for 50 years, and they are looking to redesign the skilled care building on the West Liberty campus that would include a dedicated dementia unit. They are also looking to expand their current offerings in independent living and assisted living to enhance what the West Liberty campus has to offer.
We’re grateful to be a part of their journey!
